Bag’n Baggage needed a new brand identity for the exclusive Grand Shoppes within the upscale Venetian Las Vegas. The new name needed to convey craftsmanship and evoke the spirit of travel. A certain panache was required too, since this new store would showcase designers such as Armani Collezioni and Louis Vuitton.

In the lore of travel, few feats compare to Marco Polo’s trip to the Orient. A little-known fact: He was accompanied on that journey by his father, Niccolo, and his uncle, Maffeo. Taken together, the name Niccolo & Maffeo gave the new brand an origin story, while bringing to mind Italian grace, style, and dedication to craft.
